Week 5 EOC

After lying on the beach, working on your tan it’s time to ease your mind with some wine and sooth your body in a hot Jacuzzi. This is Mercedes! Raw power, total control, the look of something from outer space! The Mercedes Benz CLS 500 (AMG package) is one of Mercedes’ most elegant pieces of machinery. Although it isn’t the “AMG” it does come equipped with the AMG’s sleek body kit, powerful V-8 5.5L engine and all eyes on you! What more can you ask for? Simple, how about comfort, maybe some bass coming out of the speakers, why not the assurance of knowing that you won’t have to wait in line for valet parking at Las Vegas’ casinos? This Benz does it all, when you get behind the wheel of this stallion you already feel better about yourself. People will let you cut to the front of the line just so they can catch a glimpse of this beauty. With 381 hp. and 391 lb. of torque you would only dream of power without the realization that it should be smooth too! When I took this car to beautiful Steamboat Spring Colorado, I didn’t know what I was getting myself into. With the windows rolled down and the music blasting, it was time to see what Mercedes is all about. The pedal pushed as far down as it goes, the noise of tires screeching and the sight of smoke building up behind me, I was off! Zero to 60 in just 4.7 seconds! The sound comming through the Boss speakers made it all the more exciting. Crisp cut treble and heart pumping bass didn’t overwhelm my ears as I was expecting. On the contrary it was the wind that canceled out most of the noise. Even the engine in full motion didn’t ROAR like expected but made a calming PPUUURRR. Driving way above the speed limit at 125 mph in just seconds I came to a left, uphill turn. Slowing to approximately 80 mph I heard nothing but the music that was being played. No screaming tires that would be expected from a BMW 750, I wasn’t surprised. With the wind getting a little annoying and the music out of control. Rolling up the windows and turning down the music I experienced something totally refreshing. Quiet, smooth, soft, sweet comfort, I soon remembered I was not in a super powerful car that can only turn on a dime and not leave behind the treads of 275/35ZR18 rear Perelle tires yet, I am in a Mercedes Benz. Mercedes did an acceptingly good job of manufacturing this piece of art. There are people who say “there is no place like home”. They haven’t been inside of a Mercedes. I felt like a king, but was having as much fun as a child opening his Christmas presents! The beasty yet suttle Benz blows out any other vehicle of its class. Not only because of its looks should everyone have the pleasure of owning one, but because of the way it drives you in and out of corners, the way you can sit in peace and quiet and hope you don’t fall asleep while behind the wheel, but if you’re the passenger, more power to you. This Benz will do everything for you with the exception of changing its own oil. Its base price of $74,575.00 Is very reasonable for a car of this stature. Dont be shy go out and test drive this car, but beware you may go home with about $80,000.00 missing from your bank account.
